#2300toKyiv
23 Sixth Formers have smashed their charity fundraising target of raising £2300 for the Disaster Emergency Committee to provide help for people in Ukraine.
The distance between Lancaster and Kyiv, the capital of the Ukraine, is 2300km and each student has pledged to run, swim or row this distance collectively to show their support and raise money.
Their goal is to raise £2300- one pound for every kilometre, and they have already surpassed this thanks to the generosity of their supporters so far.
