Lenten Charity Fundraising
Pupils raised £7,450 for their chosen Lenten Charities this year. This is a great achievement considering most of the usual fundraising activities have not been able to take place.
The school has a Charities Committee made up of pupils who are involved in selecting which charities are chosen. Earlier this year all pupils were invited to vote on which charities were supported. Benefiting from the total raised this year are:
Local Charities: Team Reece and St John’s Hospice
National Charities: Nishkam SWAT and Cancer Research UK
International Charities: Money for Madagascar and Movember
Thank you to all parents, pupils, staff and the wider school community for taking part and donating to these amazing causes.
