Masterchef 2022

Congratulations to all the Year 9 boys taking part in Masterchef 2022. The standard of cooking was higher than ever and the judges had a very difficult time deciding on who to award as winners and Highly Commended. 

Winners

Main Course:
Ammaar Munshi with his dish 'Rib capped steak, surf and turf with piri prawns, smashed potato and a salad side'. Inspired by his hero Muhammad Ali.

Dessert:
Stas Shtarbanov with his dish 'Chocolate larva cake, raspberry coulis, candied strawberries, mint and powdered sugar'. Inspired by his hero and chef Nick DiGiovanni.

Highly Recommended

Main Course:
Keon Lawrence with his dish 'Asian marinated salmon, pickled cucumber, paprika and onion Crème fraîche sauce, with lemon, orange and lime citrus marmalade served with cabbage and carrot slaw'. Inspired by his hero Raymond Blanc.

Dessert:
Will Wareing with his dish 'Tres leaches with fresh cream and summer berries and cinnamon'. Inspired by his hero and Blackburn Rovers player Ben Brereton Diaz.
